Start here: what this site is

I've built a handful of small tools over the years. Some of them people actually use. Some of them nobody ever saw, no matter how well they worked.

For me the building was always the easy part. Getting the thing in front of anyone is where it kept falling apart. So I'm trying something different: build in the open, write honestly about it, and let the writing find the people over time.

Here's roughly what I'll be writing about:

• AI in practice - how I actually make real decisions and build real tools with AI, walked through on real examples.
• Building in public - what I ship, what I learn, and the projects that quietly died (there are a few).
• Systems & homelab - the self-hosted setup that runs all of this, and where automation earns its keep.

No fixed schedule, but the plan is one genuinely useful post every week or two.
